What money buys on a Manila night
Private clubs, a chef at home, a boat out of Subic, a table at Revel and a morning plunge. What a free evening costs at the top, and the parts you can borrow for nothing.
The free evening, reported
Ask what a millionaire does with a free evening in Manila and you will hear plenty of guesses. We went looking for what can be checked: the clubs, the chefs, the boats, the tables and the morning after, with prices where they are public. Some of the figures are old, and we say so where they are.
We found no confirmed profile of a named person's evening, so nobody is quoted here. Tatler's 2018 list of crazy-rich habits gives the outline: private-club pools, weekend houses in Punta Fuego and Amanpulo, and helicopters. What follows is that outline, priced.
The private clubs
Manila House in BGC is invitation only. In 2018, Lifestyle Asia put membership at about ₱224,000 plus ₱2,500 a month; the newer figures we found were unofficial, so we leave them out. For its Halloween event in 2024, members paid ₱1,000 and their guests ₱1,500.
Further up, the numbers change shape. Admission to Manila Polo Club was reported at ₱12.5 million to ₱13.3 million in 2018, with about ₱2.2 million due on application. A Manila Golf share ran about ₱42 million to ₱45 million the same year. Those are 2018 figures, and the market has had eight years to move since.
Soho House has no Manila house, and its 2026 openings are elsewhere, Tokyo and Los Cabos among them. We found no new private club opening here in 2025 or 2026.
Dinner, a boat, a table
The quieter move is a chef in your own kitchen. Take a Chef lists Manila private chefs at about ₱4,500 a person on average, from about ₱3,300 to ₱6,900 depending on group size. Ingredients and service are included; tableware and drinks are yours to sort.
For a day on the water, Sailo lists charters out of Subic from US$250 to US$6,500 a day, with fuel and fees extra. For getting across the city, the last helicopter price we found is from 2019: ₱6,900 a seat from Makati to BGC with Ascent, so treat it as history.
And for the loud end of the evening, Revel at The Palace is the luxury lounge in BGC. A third-party listing on Venuerific says tables start from a ₱200,000 minimum spend. We could not open the page or confirm whether that figure is per table, and Revel has not published one, so read it as unconfirmed.

The morning after, booked
The detail we like best is the morning, booked before the night begins. Cold plunges have arrived in the city. Tatler listed Ice Bath Manila in BGC, which runs its tub at 10°C for 15 minutes, along with Open Mat in Makati, Vida Yoga in Makati, BGC and Alabang, Prime Studios in Alabang, and Renū pop-ups. None of them published prices.
The IV drip is the other morning ritual. Velasco Medical in BGC lists drips from about ₱2,500, and Reviv at One Bonifacio High Street and Kindred at Serendra offer them without public prices. IV hangover cures are not supported by the review evidence. This is reporting, not medical advice.
The parts worth borrowing
Money buys the room. Taste fills it, and taste is free. Look past the price tags and you find three habits anyone can keep.
- Choose the room. Decide where you are going and why before anyone texts the group, the way a member picks a club.
- Leave early. Walking out while the room is still good is a luxury that costs nothing.
- Book the morning. A swim, a run, a coffee with someone you like: put it in the calendar before the first drink, and the night arranges itself around it.
The evening at the top is a series of choices made in advance. You can make the same ones on a ₱1,500 night with two drinks included.
