The Palace, BGC: four rooms under one roof
Yes Please, Revel, Clubhouse and Medusa share one complex in Uptown BGC. Here is what kind of night each one is for, how to pick, and what happened to XYLO.
The Palace in Uptown BGC is a complex of rooms under one name. Its own venues page lists four of them today: Yes Please, Revel, Clubhouse and Medusa. Each runs its own crowd and its own idea of a good night, and knowing which door to walk through is most of the job.
This guide sticks to what each room is. Prices and door policies change by the week and the venues post them better than we can, so where we quote a number, we say where it came from.
The rooms
Yes Please is the cocktail bar, with DJs, and about 52,000 people followed it on Instagram when we checked on 19 October. It is the room in the complex built for talking with music on, which makes it the easiest entry point if your night is about meeting people. By most accounts it is also where Never Strangers, the invite-only singles party that travels between cities, held its Manila night in May.
Revel is the luxury lounge, with about 58,000 followers, and it runs big-room nights. Think dressed, paced for a long evening, and suited to a group that wants a table and a sense of occasion.
Clubhouse is the nightclub, pitched squarely at a Gen Z crowd, with about 40,000 followers. The Palace lists it as open Tuesday to Saturday from 10pm. Cover on Fridays and Saturdays is reportedly ₱800 to ₱1,500, with tables reportedly from ₱8,000; we have not confirmed either figure. Go when you want a dance floor and a room that came to use it.
Medusa is the supper club. A supper club usually means the night starts at the table and keeps going after the plates are cleared, which makes it the one room here that can hold a whole evening from dinner on.

What happened to XYLO
XYLO closed in January 2026 after seven years, with closing parties from 13 to 17 January, as The Beat reported. For years it was the superclub of the complex, the room for groups, booths and the biggest nights of the week.
That big-format night has moved to Clubhouse, which is now XYLO's de facto replacement. If an older guide or a friend's memory sends you to XYLO, head to Clubhouse.
How to choose
Start with what you want from the night, then pick the room. If you want to meet people, choose the room where you can hear them, which here means Yes Please. If you want dinner that becomes a night, Medusa. If you want a table and a long evening, Revel. If you want to dance, Clubhouse.
Coming alone changes the maths. A cocktail bar is far easier to arrive at solo, because there is a bar to stand at and a volume you can talk over. A nightclub is better with people you already know, or people you met earlier in the evening somewhere quieter. Because the four rooms share an address, a night can start in one and finish in another without a taxi in between.
We do not have a confirmed dress code for any of the four, so check each venue's Instagram on the day. As a working rule, dress up a step for Revel and Medusa, keep it smart and easy for Yes Please, and wear shoes you can dance in for Clubhouse. On timing, cocktail bars and supper clubs are at their best early, and clubs build later. Clubhouse does not open its doors until 10.
Halloween: Dystera, 31 October
On Saturday 31 October, The Palace runs Dystera, a Halloween night across all four rooms. Each room hosts its own party: La Fête at Medusa from 6:30pm, YP 2099 at Yes Please from 8pm, and Rogue at Clubhouse and Babylon at Revel, both from 10pm.
Entry is by an All Access Pass, limited to 100, or a District Pass, and the night is 18 and over. Sources disagree on the costume rules, so check the venue before you plan an outfit around them. The staggered start times make it easy to work through the rooms in order, from dinner to the dance floor.
Where Party Life fits
The Guest List, our first issue, is set for a rooftop or cocktail bar in BGC or Makati: eighty guests, ₱1,500 with two drinks, and a host doing the introductions. The kind of room Yes Please is, a bar with music you can talk over, is the kind of room that night is designed for. The venue itself is revealed to ticket holders the day before.
