What a venue gets from a Party Life issue
A note to venue owners and managers: eighty guests at a quiet hour, bar spend on top, and a cover with your name on it.
The short version
Party Life MNL is a nightlife magazine that hosts its own nights. Each night is an issue, and each issue has one venue on the cover. Our first is The Guest List: eighty guests, 21 and over, ₱1,500 a head with two drinks included, and a host who introduces everyone in the first ten minutes.
We are looking for the rooms to put on those covers. Here is what a venue gets from an issue.
- A guaranteed, capped room of eighty at a quiet hour.
- Bar spend on top of the two included drinks.
- The cover of the issue, with your name on the masthead strip.
- Your handle in every post we publish for a month.
- A recap within 48 hours of the night.
- A guest list you can remarket to.
- The presenting-sponsor slot for the issue.
A full room at a quiet hour
Doors are at 8. For a lot of bars and rooftops, that is the slow part of the evening, before the late crowd arrives. We bring a capped room of eighty into it, every one of them holding a ticket they have already paid for.
Every guest has two drinks included. Spend after those two is on top, at your bar and at your prices. A room full of people who have just been introduced to each other has a good reason to stay for another round.
Because the room is capped and ticketed, you know the number before the night. Your team can staff for eighty, and the host runs the floor.
A cover, a month of posts and a recap
Each issue puts your venue on the cover, with your name on the masthead strip. For a month around the issue, your handle is in every post we publish. Within 48 hours of the night, we publish the recap: the room, the guests and the story of the night, tagged to you. The cover itself is designed around your room: the venue name, the date of the issue and the guests who made the night.
The recap stays up as an article on our site after the weekend is over, which is longer than any flyer lasts. Venues in Manila already hold the biggest audiences in nightlife. When we checked on 19 October, the rooms of The Palace each had tens of thousands of followers, while most hosts had a few thousand or fewer. An issue gives your followers a story about your room to read and share.
A guest list you can use
After the night, you receive the guest list, so you can remarket to people who have already stood in your room. These are guests who chose to come, paid to come and met people while they were there. We share it on the consent guests give when they book. For a venue, that list is the start of a relationship with a new crowd, people who might come back on a night you host yourself.
Each issue also carries one presenting-sponsor slot, and it comes with the cover. Use it for your own brand, or bring in a partner you already work with. Either way, it sits on the issue alongside your name.
Terms we are open to
We keep the deal simple and stay flexible on its shape. Three structures work for us. A minimum spend, where the room is guaranteed to reach an agreed bar total. A per-head drinks package, where we pay a set price for the two included drinks per guest. Or a ticket split, where the venue takes an agreed share of each ₱1,500 ticket.
Which one fits depends on your room, your night and your bar, and we are happy to work it out with you room by room. We are launching now, and Issue 01 is being placed at a rooftop or cocktail bar in BGC or Makati. Every arrangement is agreed in writing before we announce the issue, so both sides know the numbers before a single ticket is sold. If your room suits eighty people meeting each other over a drink, we would like to see it.
To see the rooms we have already put on the record since 2023, from Mansion to H Club, open Our history. Then DM VENUE to @partylifemnl.
